How do you change the text in a CUSTOM MODULE without changing the text of the blog?

like change the font and color and everything? add some html in the module. like this...

That didn't work.

THis is the problem the back ground for the modules is white and the blog black I want them opposite white on black, black on white. but I can't.

well this is where it should be changed... and by changing text color to 000000 it should be black, but its not.. um you do want it to be black right?
