okay...i just don't seem to get this problem. It has to do with factorials....
If 4! = 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 OR 4(4-1)(4-2)(4-3) and 4!/2! = 4 x 3 x 2 x 1/2 x 1 = 12 FIND: (n-1)!n/(n+1)! Yeah...I'm pretty much lost. Can someone explain to me how to solve it, not the answer but maybe a way to get me started or uh, how to do it. |
