i have custom modules to be placed way to the left... how do i make a div for that? i have the custom modules already..

You have to position the custom module and then position the blog. You do have the blog in a div right?

i just want the blog on the far right and the modules on the far left. but every time i put them all together it becomes messed up....

You have to play around with the margin tops and left and same for the div for the custom module.

my blog goes to the background and occupies the whole screen...

how do i make a div for the top-LEFT custom module and a div for blog to the top-right? that's all i ask....

Add align="left" to one and align="right" to the other. Also, move the navigation and stuff before the blog.

i did those... but the blog keeps on occupying the whole space.....

the modules i'm using are collapsible by the way....
the first div is the collapsible module while the second is for the blog...

In the "masterdiv" div, specify the margin-left, alignment, or whatever it is you're using to position it. For example you have "<div class="masterdiv">". You'd change it to <div class="masterdiv" style="margin-left:XXXpx;">
