i'm trying to make an imagemapped fixed BACKGROUND without having any div (boxed, i mean) on my blog; imagemapped background using the main scroller for the blog, to put it in other words... is that possible? thanks

You can't map a background. That defeat the purpose of mapping.

.... You can still design it, just position the image with a div layer and move the blogspace as needed. Just don't put overflow:auto; in there. Use overflow:none;
