Yeah, I guess it's kinda obvious that I don't have oral herpes now since I apparently don't know too much about it ph34r.gif

but yes, extremely extremely painful.

You can have herpes inside your mouth, so if you DO have canker sores, the cold sores on the outside can affect the sores on the inside.

Anyways, I also have canker sores every now and then. And they're usually more than one at a time. And they tend to last in my mouth for about two weeks at a time. It sucks so bad. I tend to accidentally bite the inside of my mouth or I'm eating chips, which occasionally scrape against my gums. That usually leads to canker sores, since it gets infected. sad.gif Plus, our mouth is like a living bacterial breeding ground.

That's why NOW I HAVE CORSODYL GEL AND MOUTHWASH! It's only available in the UK, so I got my sister to bring back some. YEA! >=] I've read online that it makes canker sores heal so much faster, where some people were unable to feel anymore pain after 3-5 days.

Betty, I'm going to stick this in Health, obviously move it back if you have a massive issue.

ANd yeah, it really DOES bite. I hate them on your upper gum, for some reason that always seems to be worst.

Salt DOES hurt like a bitch. Even one tiny grain.

Yeah, they always happen to me when I accidentally bite my mouth when I'm chewing gum while talking.

OOOHHHHHHH my backseat modding worked...

Anyways, Betty, you should try rubbing it with a qtip (VERY LIGHTLY) that is soaked in mouthwash (preferably Listerine > Scope). It should clear up some of the bacteria and it should feel a little better afterwards.

When it's hurting a lot, just take some listerine and keep it in your mouth for at least 30 seconds. It might (most likely) be painful, but afterwards it should feel a little better. It's because the bacteria in your mouth and whatnot are being burned away! :D Or at least that's my reasoning. :>

f**k, I have one now. I don't see what it has to do with hygiene, eating habits, or anything like that though; they seem pretty inevitable whenever you get some sort of cut in your mouth. Or my mouth, I guess. This was caused by a toothbrush.

I had that too one time.
Everyone was like "There's something on your lip. And it's bleeding"
And then I'd be all like "STFUNUBGTFOMAHFACEz0RS".

Not fun.
