Well I have a science project on Neptune. We all have to do a powerpoint, I was wondering if anyone knows any cool tricks or pointers for Powerpoint.

I don't really know any tricks in Powerpoint, if there are any. Since it's on planets, you could add all the transitions between slides, some planet animations? Make the background for the slides a picture of Neptune. The best thing you can do is add loads of Neptune images (different ones of course). Like, everywhere. The first and last slides.

i usually always stick a cartoon in every slide somewhere that's small, but not microscopic or anything. it keeps the audience looking for it, and the teacher will think they're not just being educated, but interested as well.

of course, that doesn't help so much if you're not presenting in front of a group.

put lots of music and pictures
if you want you could put a home page at the beginning and you just sorta choose where you want to go...you can go to Slide Show, Action Buttons, and then just sorta play with all those things, teachers get impressed when you have it sort of like a web page, clicking and choosing

I haven't touched power point in a LONG time AND it depends on what power point version you have, but right click on the sound object (the little speaker), go to "edit sound object", then check "loop until stopped".
