What is the differences between Adobe Photoshop Elements (1.0,2.0,3.0), Adobe Photoshop (7.0, 6.0....) and Adobe Photoshop CS?

-elements is more for editing photos and has less options . you cant animate w/ elements unless you go by layers . elements has less filters and tools but its a good program to start off with because thats what i used but w/ elements you cna make layouts and all.

- photoshop 5.0+
have way more tools and ofcourse more features than elements and the early features there all basically photoshop. but most of these come w/ imageready an animateing program.some of these versions also come w/ the pen tool and other tools that elements dont get

- Photoshop Cs.
is one of the lastest versions soo it obviously comes w/ a newer version of imageready and it has moretools and i guess more options.

but they do have some things in common and there all photoshop.

Biggest difference is that Photostop Elements is affordable. :p You can get it at Wal-Mart for about $60, whereas Photoshop CS costs over $600, I believe.

.... The biggest diffrence would be no pen tool. no pen tool = no good vectors. It's far easier to go get PSP... Which costs about the same. However, Elements would be very, very good if you like to manipulate and fix photos. It's very good at that.
