how to use downloaded fonts?, im sorry, im total noob

yeah uhm, i was just wondering...
i downloaded a font i liked, and im not sure where to put it...i thought u put it in ur windows/font folder but wen i try to use Microsoft Weft it doesnt show that my new font is in the folder...can anyone help me?

You have to place the font in another folder like My Documents or something..then extract the file (riqht click > extract all files) and put THAT into your Fonts folder in Windows.

okay, i did that...the file is in my fonts folder...but it still doesnt say show that i can embed it in Microsoft Weft...This is what my font folder looks like...and this is what Microsoft Weft looks like wen i try to embed it...

yah, thats the tutorial im trying to follow, but wen i want to add the "A Theme For Murder" its not there...

for 2 long hours, i finally come to realize that all i needed to do was reset the program and let it update my new fonts...wow, thats amazing...aha thanks anyway
