hey! 'tis meh first time on these boards. -bows- it's nice to meet you all...

anyways, getting to the point, i'm having a bit of a problem with my xanga. i'm using one of the codes on createblog, however, i noticed that the date header for each entry was stretching across the page. ^^;

this is what it looks like:


i want to shorten it up so that the background of the date header doesn't cover up the image in my background.

i personally am a HTML person, so this is my first time using CSS. even so, i've fiddled around with almost all the variables in this code and nothing's happened. ><;

you have to set the width alighnment in your look and feel to a lower number.. It's the first thing you'll see in your look and feel.
