To get a website? You have to register one to buy one.

If you mean a subdomain, you can get one a various places, such as http://pick-me.net or http://ka-boink.net. You'll probably have to know HTML/CSS and the like and how to use FTP.

if you dont wish to be hosted on a site like those you can look in the BBOR for free hosting sites. you can just join on of those . for ones like pick-me or ka-boink you have to have some previous knowledge and you must have examples of your work, layouts , banners , and all. if you get a free hosting site like geocities or some in the BBOR most of those you dont need any examples at all and if you dont like the url then you can just use url redirection to get one you like.

the sites that mona gave you you get a free subdomain but you need some talent/work to show.and you have ot apply.

I'd have to say of all of the *free* sites that geocies.com is the most tolerable..... that's the one I used before I got my subdomain. Also www.ipowerhosts.com is very good, I'm not sure if it was on that list or not

i'd say try a subdomain if you know html and css. geocities is kind of annoying becuase they put that really big ad on your page,but if you dont have any html knowledge,it'd be good to start out with.

I think www.freewebs.com is a really good site. :] If you use the beginner mode, you'll get ads later on, but if you use advanced mode, I dont' think you'll ever get ads.

with free webs they only allow 50 things thats it... no ads but if u dont have their ad code on your site then they will ban ur site... they dont allow music or anything X_X i dont like free webs... id recommend, www.hostultra.com thats pretty good.. unlimited space and stuff..
