font & typing thingy..., help ? |

i was woundering what font this is... heres is an example
and ummm like in photoshop 7.... i know how to type horixontally and vertically, but i cant type like slanted like in the example... anyone know how?

I'm pretty sure that font is Carpenter, and you can download it at dafont.com
And to type diagonally, use your pen tool to make a path that is diagonal, and then have your text follow that path. |

.. umm.. you can't download it at dafont. Well, you can, but it'll cost ya money because this font is rare and.. cool..

rare... ok haha then font problem solved! ummm but i umm really suck at using the pen tool and that didnt really help me though...

I think you can use the Text Tool and drag it diagonally.. I remember doing that somewhere and it worked. I'm not sure, but my bad memory thinks it's PS7

I downloaded carpenter at dafont, I think. Maybe I got it from that font thread. Anyhow. Sorry bout that. I'd try and explain the pen tool thing, but I'm a noob in PS myself!!

You type your words. Press Enter, the one on the very right/bottom of your keyboard in your numpad, so you're done typing.
Then you go to Edit > Transform > Rotate and from there you can drag the corners of your text. For all your font questions, click here. Common fonts. http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=53151 Carpenter is the first font there. |
