I've never really had a cold sore before so I wouldn't know. x]

That's because healthy, STD-free people don't get cold sores.

gargle= throat.

but anyways; salt water will kill some bacterias.

cold sores are caused by a virus.

therefore: no, probably not, unless those aren't cold sores.

Apparently, those white blistery things are from bacteria. Salt water kills it, so i think it should help. Haha my grandma told me that too. Our grandmothers should be friends.

You know those cold sores inside of your mouth, (thanks for helping me remember) is it true that if you mix salt and water together and gargle, it'll help eliminate the blister faster? That's what my grandmother told me.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I didn't know where to put it. Feel free to move it whereever it belongs.

you konw whats even better if you gargle listereen cause its an alcohol and the cold is a bacterial infection the alcohol wil killl it

if you your first cankersore before you're five, then you're more likely to have it often. if you get it after, then you won't get it as often.

i have some sort of medicine or something for it. i don't usually get them, but when i do, i just use that or just rub salt in. it'll hurt but.. i dunno, i'm just used to hurting.

that sounded so screwed up, haha. being hurt isn't really such a big thing to me anymore. life goes on.

i've heard of the salt water thing but i've never tried it.

Yeah, thats right. I've done it before, and no, it doesn't burn because its diluted(sp) so much that you just taste the salt.
