im going to say this is or almost is 3/4 finished. i still have to do the head which is really difficult :\,the bellybutton, the background, and some touchups. I've been working onthis on and off for about a week...trying to take my time so that i dont start getting rushy and slip up on some parts.
brittney aka (kana-p)(nvpanda) has really helped me out on this and has been showing me ways to make it look better as i've been working

heres the original


im doing this for a contest :3 first place gets a free domain name, and i was just about to register one, before a friend told me about the contest, for a site that brittney and i are making

any way ...i got antsy and wanted to show what ive done so far..if you guys can give me any direction to make it look more appealing id appreciate it.

thats very cool. How do you get that effect on the skin? I've seen your vectors and they are all quite different than the usual layers of colors...

yep its 100% illustrator mostly mesh tool. i have the .ai file to prove that too

the gradient mesh tool...i do alot of mesh vectors like this because i want to get as good as this guy (see his vectors)

It looks amazing. I can't wait to see the finish product. Anyways, I agree with someone about how one of her boobs looks a bit mishaped or something. I also noticed this REALLY TINY detail but I'm anal and a perfectionist so I just thought I'd point it out:

It looks like it's not straight, kind of a bump. Maybe I'm seeing things...? It might just be because on the original picture there was writing in that area... Anyways, Wonderful job =)

And yeah, sorry...I probably am being too nit picky or whatever it's called.
