I've never gotten any kind of abuse on this website. Everyone's been really supportive. Homophobia does suck though. Why don't the straight guys go after thier real enemy? the really hot guy with a job and a nice car. We aren't doing anything to them
*

ugh yea I kno... well i'm not a guy... but I know how you feel.... people make such a big deal out of people being... erm.. "not straight"... I don't really see why, you don't see Gay/les/bi people picking on straight people... I don't get it.... stubborn.gif

The events between pages one and two were interesting but anyway -- I have not received any comments like that and I think homophobia is weird. Well, that's me, I don't know about you.

Yeah this got SO off topic...

Annyways I don't see much homophobia on cB, I really don't see why people haven't learned to accept homosexuality in this day and age, I'm not gay or bi but still I am in full support of the gay and lesbian movement (in a sense), and I just hope when I have kids their generation won't have to see such ignorance in the human race.

there arent very many TRUE homophobes on cb, that i know of

a lot of people are ignorant and misues the term 'gay', but as anna has already posted links to that thread, i'll save the soap box moment for another time

i detest homophobia in any circmstances, and i personally wont tolerate it if i come across with out giving a VERY harsh piece of my mind.

Do you really believe that? There are plenty of homophobic people, many just aren't soo upfront about it.

I get racist abuse al of the time anyway thats the funny thing, just not online. I found it quite amusing, not sad, pathetic or anything; although it was all of the above, come to think of it.
He was 13, and just trying to piss everyone off but I mean I'm sure there's no true deep rooted homophobia online.

And I'm pretty sure you're wrong, maybe not neccessarily about that kid, but there are people who love the mask of anonymity online where they can hide from real accusations of homophobia.

What should you do if you see a racist hanging around in your front garden?
Hang him out in the back.

Yeah, this is bullshit. Do you think that gays have a voice in what they choose their sexuality to be? Ha, you must be joking me.

This is just a small obstacle to overcome in the world. It will be diminished.

Oh and by the way, James and Rachel, you guys are totally awesome.
