You see -- these drops they fall upon your feet are they tears-- from your eyes? or blood from your heart I feel. These drops falling to the ground and as the puddles from I wonder if these drops of sadness from your eye these drops of passion from your heart if, to stop them, you do try or from them do you willingly part I feel these drops upon my hands I look into your eyes and was within them more pain and sadness than one body could hold. and these drops still fall. drops ©2005 by me becuase people apparently are intimidated by large collections of poems. |
