I have a Ti-84 Silver Edition with a blue cover. It was 130 bucks! But it has some awesome features as well as the standard ones so i'm not at all unhappy.

I have no idea where it's cheapest, but yes I have one. Most high schoolers do.

not many people have the calculator I do with the plates, so when they see it's pink, they're like "ohh cool!" and blah. It comes in handy a lot in high school. I don't know how people go without one. I even store formulas and stuff in there for the tests and stuff

i would get a TI around a TI 83 bcuz most teachers use those plus theyre very hand
but theyre very expensive...  but i have a TI-84+ and its very handy (: ps i wouldnt get too attached or you may forget how to do simple math w/o it [that happend to lots of my friends]
