my mom, aunt, and 2 uncles were all adopted from different families, because my grandmother coulndt bear children. My mom never wanted to meet her real family, but my aunt did. She visits them every thanksgiving. She actually has three sisters and a brother. Her mother gave her up because she was really really poor and her husband had left her to care for the four kids she had and then one on the way and she just couldnt do it. My aunt is really happy shegot cuirious and looked it up. She now has more people to love!

Well, my dad was adopted along with his twin and his older brother. Otherwise I don't really know many people who have been adopted.

I'm not adopted.

But I have a good friend who is. I dont know why her mother (or parents) gave her up, but I'm not willing to risk hurting her feelings to ask her about it. She has a bunch of other adopted siblings too, all from diffrent familys. *nod*

I`m not adopted but sometimes I feel like I am. I dont look like my parents at all. And we are really different.

*Sigh* Same here. Harr. As for adopted people, I know this guy on another forum I visit was adopted when he was just a kid because his fifteen year-old mother was a druggie. ermm.gif I know someone in real life on my forensics team that is adopted, though. She never knew her parents, but she's pretty happy with her adoptive parents.

one of my sister's friends is adopted. she is from romania and she has been adopted ever since she was like a few months old. i don't think she knows very much if anything about her biological family considering she is from romania but i know a boy at my school who was also adopted and he couldn't find out anything about his real parents. ermm.gif

When I was in fourth grade, I learned that one of my best friends was adopted. She didn't really like talking about it, but she did say that she was happy with her adoptive parents and had no desire to meet her biological parents.
