The sirens of my blood-filled sea,
Call seductively and frequently for me. Their voices sing of a voluptuous, sweet killing, But to follow this path, I must be willing. I’d close my eyes, let the glass slide through, Heaven on earth would suddenly be true. Now my worries and fears have dissipated, And I have paid so my mind will be belated. I apologize that I do not fill your time, Full of sweet sex and physical rhyme. For I thought that you cared about my heart, But loss of touch has set you far apart. Well, I won’t waste my precious affection, For I have lost it before in a fatal attraction. I cannot control anymore, the door is shut, They thought that my young mind was too corrupt. Now I walk still with my head up straight, I can smile and appear in a dazed blithe state. But a soon as humanity has lost sight of ‘the her,’ Misery laces out my tears, becomes my lover. How many times has my heart been broken, I gave you my soul, with my heart wide open. The philosophy I once strongly believed, Made me so my heart would not be diseased. Once again, I look at love with indifference, Delighting in others failures and dissonance. Written in a ranting and despondent mood.
