Aww come on don't worry you guys. Just open it. Seriously you'll laugh. It only shows a close up of the girl from the ring's eye. It's really nothing scary so just open it. It's really funny I swear.

I just watched that video over and the screaming is killing me x_X; but If you think about it I would be terrified if someone just came out from under the table.

I saw the Japanese version of The Ring about 6 years ago and bought it on DVD as soon as it was released.

I have seen literally hundreds of so-called horror movies and none has come close to terrifying me or leaving such an indelible mark on my memory than this one. Perhaps it is because Japanese is such a guttural and aggressive language but for a Westerner this added even more to the overall pervading feeling of intimidation.

This movie is not for those with the attention span of a goldfish as it is subtitled but as with all great sub-titled movies (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) the sub-titles just seamlessly blend into the movie.

The American remake is also excellent but cannot compare to the original's eerie use of shadow, split second frame editing...and that soundtrack!!...I mean since when have clashing cymbals or brief violin notes been so threatening??! It is a masterpiece.

As for The Ring 2. I saw this in a theatre in Naples Fla on its first w/e of release back in early April. It is definitely more scary than the remake; unfortunately, since it was such a popular choice, I ended up sitting down in the stalls with all the barely-post 13 yo vomit kids.

WTF is it with those muthafukkas that they cant leave their cell-phones alone for 1 1/2 hours or that the four scummy little biatches sitting behind me constantly went eeeewwww to every fukking thing in that movie. Preppy little losers like that should stay @ home and watch Pop Idol, not a movie that is so obviously going to be scary. Stupid little girls.

Here in the UK it is rated 15. I am not sure if this is because we have a different version, but that rating would sure as hell keep out those immature little twats that so tried to ruin the movie for all of us....and you try getting kids kicked out...in fact try finding a Manager on duty.

Go see Ring 2. I will never look at deer as Bambi anymore lololol.

Peace Out

I really knew that that was gonna happen. Could tell by the design of the t.v.

I'd probably be like the girl who was plugging her ears. *takes fingers out of ears, but then realized how could i possibly type then...*

[edit]
The close-up reminds me of the Grudge...

I LOVE SCARY MOVIES... I'D DIE WITHOUT THEM. lol...

LMFAO. That was hilarious. I really should do that. I saw The Ring and quite frankly I wasn't even scared. I'm surprised it was so horrible for them. I like their clothing style.
