Song Breakdown, Help? Options

OKay, so in art class we are doing this things called Mandala's. I was pondering what I wanted to do my mandala on and at the same time listening to the song "One Headlight" By The Wallflowers. I love this song to death and decided, hey, why not create the art around that song? Okay, so I looked up the lyrics, but they are kind of hard to comprehend.

Does anyone know the real meaning of this song?

- I had looked it up and didn't get many results. Only one page was somewhat helpful.

However, I can't tell how accurate, and it confuses me somewhat.

Lastly, any ideas? If you don't know what a Mandala is, it's basically a circle of art, with many other circles going around the main one.

I basically need help on picking what to put in each layer.
