well, you could always use a curling iron and give yourself some waves.. or use a crimper.

Perm it or wait months too see how your hair looks like with no use of combs or anything....you would look silly.

they care called corn rows. and you can get them in the usa. you don't have to go to mexico. mellow.gif

and if you don't want to have to use any gel or mousse, than just put it up in a pony tail or like alot of people have said: a braid or curls. wink.gif

i agree my sisters hair was really damaged and all "crispy" and got even worse when she dye it. i felt bad for her and my cousin b/c my cousin dyed her hair when she was only five!

anyways, Just play with your hair. i don't recommend using all of those hair curlers.. all i do is umm go on the internet on google and stuff and search. i also get my whole tray of hair accesories and just see wat i can find in there. i also read mangas and i get my hair styles from the books lol and i also (lol so much.) when i watch the movies i look at the hair style and see what it looks like and examine it and then try it on my self.. shifty.gif

do you want to use curling irons/straighteners/crimpers?
if you don't wanna use things like that then....

-side ponytail
-braid (ponytail...pigtails...lots of random braids)
-change your part. usually something unique can come out of this
-bun?
-pigtails
-twists
-french braids
-herringbone/french herringbone

dunno, there are other things too...
