I like the animation and it's pretty nice and simple. Eww the links get bigger when you hover though. Some stuff is plain though, like navi headers and dates. They could have some sort of image in front, like the male or female sign such as the one next to "blog."

-It feels out of balance with the left column so high up. Why not move it down and expand the banner?
-The text in the blog body is really close to the borders, more so than the modules column -Why dont u do rounded corners with the blackborders since the white glow is rounded? -It feels wierd to have very distinct starting corners on the top but you dont close off either the module or the blog body w/ a border and rounded corners. -The right click protection is annoying |

well, it's misaligned and most of the banner is covered by the ad on the browser i'm using (safari 1280x1024).
