This is a physics topic. erm...how does a MAGLEV train work? it's something to do with the positive and negative charges...
Please help me out. THANKS!

got this from my physics book.. hope it helps

Maglev, short for Magnetic levitation, vehicles are suspended by magnetic forces and tehrefore do not make physical contact with a roadway/track. This suspension eliminates mechanical friction with the track, the primary cause of transformation of kinetic energy to internal energy. There is still friction force from the surrounding air that will transform some of the kinetic energy.

basically it's based on the physics of magnetic fields and electromagnetism

hope that helps.. but if u google it i'm sure a lot of pages w/ really detailed explanations will show up..
