It's possible for opposites to attract, many have had it happen to them. But usually when opposites attract it goes for the worst. I had a situation with this a while back, the girl i was dating liked things alot different than what i liked, we would go to different movies and such, i tried changing who i was for her, but then i realized i should just be myself and we ended the relationship. Has this ever happened to you?

yea it did but we werent that opposite tho.. but i think opposites do attract.. not all relationships turn out bad lol i think its pretty cool sometimes cuz u get to learn about each other

sometimes it seems like me and my bf are complete opposites. i've very childish, outgoing, i can't speak proper english, i come from a lower-middle class family, my dad works on a rig, that kinda thing....
he's quiet around other people, somewhat mature for his age, constantly correcting my grammar, his dad's a doctor, that kinda thing.... but we have a lot of fun together and i finally get it when someone says "they compliment each other well" yin and yang i guess ^_^ |

yehh me and ex were both opposites... he's into the rock music and skatboarding... very laidback.. i was preppy... more complicated?
 but we related the same... our views on things were common... i mean if you had someone exactley like you... it would juss be boring!

yeah thats happened to me in the past. we liked eachother and all but the few things we had in common werent enough to keep us together. he ended up getting a girlfriend more like him.

i think opposites do attact, im dating someone thats really really really different from me.haha... when i met her she didnt seem like my type, shes an over achiever and that can be Intimidating, but yea her interest and hobbies are interesting,which make us interested..sounds funny but eh, but we end up having alot in common.... iono if we're really opposites,but at first it seemed like it

I agree that opposites attract but not complete opposites. You need stuff in common as well so you can do things together and both enjoy them instead of just doing it for your partner. Being opposite is good as well so your not ending up agreeing up the whole time. Abit of conflict can be fun sometimes

i think that is just depends on the people. sometimes it works out and other times it doesn't. it just depends.
