it looks alright. i like the texture of it. but what i really like is the new toshiba gigabeat.
somehow, i wish that instead of starting thier own mp3 player line, toshiba had simply bought iriver. unlimited hard drive supply! i'm not liking the fact that it looks like it needs a proprietary cable tho. |

Well that picture may be a prototype, so we don't know for sure if that's how it's going to look like in the end, or that may be the finishing, hopefully prototype.

Its looks really sleek. Nice. By the buttons, im guessing its major thing would be video. But they have the iRiver u10 for that. Better version ? Iderno.

yea, it's the cable that gets me thinking it's a temporary video version of the h10.
or, it's just a concept model. we haven't seen a pic of it turn on, so it could be a fake for all we know. go look at the toshiba s series thread. |

That device on the Texas Instrument booth of the CES this year was a big mystery for many people;
People from iRiver didn't know what the heck the visitors were talking about when they asked about it. However, there is one thing that iRiver stated this year at CES; H10 would be discontinued as new models that follows the U10 design would replace the H10 and will be associated with Xbox 360 |

Quoting myself, I don't really think the looks matter anyway, it's how it performs. Although I'm not really into the connection wire, I like standard USB cables, that's why I'm getting a little pissy with my H10. |

^ Still, wouldn't you rather want something that uses standard cables, so it's easier to go to your friend's house not having to go "I'll bring my cable too".

well, you could say the ipod jack is a standard then. sure, it's proprietary, but 80% of DAPs use it.
it's more likely that if you go to your friends house, they'll have an ipod cord. of course, that's not really any use because of itunes. but we'll ignore that. |

^ Well not my friends. I told them not to get iPods. They all have Zens, iRivers and others. But I know what you're saying.
