K, here's the game.

You have a person sit in a chair. Then four people stand around him. you fold your hands together, but leave your pointer and middle finger pointing straigh out. It kinda looks like your making a gun with your hands. Then one person puts their two fingers under a knee, then another person does the same to the other knee, then another person puts their fingers under the armpits, and the same on the other side.
you try to lift this person, but can't. next you put your hands over the head of the perso sitting in a chair, then quickly take them down and do it again, and amazingly you can now lift them

i didnt believe it worked till me, another girl and two guys lifted a 250 lb guy outta the seat.

it was so freaky! does anyone know how this works? another version of it is "light as a feather, stiff as a board"

We did that in PE last year. We did the "light as a feather" thing...and it worked. Our PE teacher said she made us do it to show us that this is just like exercise; you're able to do it, it's just your attitude that stops you. She told us to think positive, think that you CAN do it, that it's easy, and you will be able to do it, because you were physically capable to do so in the first place.

Haha, I don't know. There's some science behind it. The levitation doesn't have anything to do with witchcraft, anyhow.

Here's more detailed instructions:

This requires five people. First, have one person sit in a chair. The other four entwines their fingers together into a ball, and leave the index fingers pointing out, making a gun shape with their hands.

Now, have the person in the chair lift up their arms so that two people can rest the arm onto the pointed fingers. The other two people put the fingers under the knee. Now try and lift the person. It shouldn't work, or if you could lift the person, it was probably difficult to do so.

Now, have the four people put their outstretched palm downwards on top of the chair-person's head. Close your eyes and repeat to yourself "Light as a feather, stiff as a board. Light as a feather, stiff as a board". Try and imagine yourself lifting the person with ease and swiftness.

Now try lifting the person again. It should be easy this time around.

Oh, I've done that before! It's pretty cool. I don't think it's magic or something though.. there's some logical explanation for why it works, but I can't think of it right now.
