Internet relationships, lets say...

What if you decide to have a relationship with a guy online and the relationship lasts like 6 months do u think it counts as a real realtionship?(Meaning that if you had lets say 5 bfs in the past now u have 6) I'm just wondering.

if you've met this person and go on actual dates but you keep in contact online then yes...if you have never seen him in person, never dated in person...then in my opinion no

saying "hey baby how was your day? ....i love you =]" for 6 months isn't really a relationship...

i know that's probably not how you people really talk but that's what i picture

If you had met him and he had to move and you decided to take it to the internet and such, then yeah. Count that....but if you haven't met him, then I wouldn't count it.

No i really can't see the emotion in an online relationship. the, lets use a guy, guy could say he is like 14 and in truth he is like 58 or something. it's a creepy world out there. AAny relationship where you have neverseen your "significant other" is't a true relation ship.

I wouldn't count it unless I've met him. I mean, you've never kissed him, never even felt his skin, never touched him once? Naww.. I mean, you haven't even done the simplest things that enemies could've done: touch each other or at least see each other in real life. (Touch as in.. hit? xP)

I don't think online relationships are real. If you haven't met the person, how can you judge their character, body language and facial expressions. Sometimes those mean more than words.

I don't know. It depends. How strongly did you feel about this person? Did you ever meet him? Has he actually showed he cares for you? All questions you have to take into consideration.

I agree with what everyone else here has said, it only counts if you guys dated offline too. I think online relationships are pretty stupid actually.
