help with Intro Splash Page Options

[saigonese]

Hi there. I used this code to make a welcome page, but then the background the of original xanga page also became the background of this splash page, so i had to change the background to single color instead of a picture which i had before. Anyone know how to make a background for the splash page and the xanga page separately? THis is the code im using for the welcome page:

<!-- begin code provided by createblog.com --><br /><script type='text/javascript'><br />// intro splash page by micron<br />// for more xanga scripts and help go to createblog.com<br /><br />// change this url to an image of your choice<br />var image = 'http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v456/little_vietnam/WORK5.jpg';<br /><br />function enterSite() {<br />document.getElementById('splash').style.display = 'none';<br />var content = document.getElementsByTagName("center");<br />for (var i=0; i<content.length;i++) {<br /> content[i].style.display = 'block';<br />}<br />return false;<br />}<br /><br />if (document.title.slice(-10) == 'Xanga Site') {<br />document.write('</span></center><style type="text/css"> center {display:none;} .image {border:1px solid #dcdcdc;} </style><table height="100%" width="100%" id="splash"><tr><td align="center" valign="middle" style="text-align:center !important;"><a href="#" onclick="return enterSite();"><img src="'+ image +'" border="0" class="image"></a></td></tr></table><center><span>');<br />}<br /></script><br /><!-- end code provided by createblog.com -->

umm y not try to make your image fit the screen so it will make the backround a different color cuz i tried a welcome sign and it always follows the backround color that is listed in your look and feel.. unless you have like a seperate skin .. or u could try adding this to in front of the code..

BACKGROUND: #COLOR CODE
