Do you ever feel like you are totally under someone's control? Whether it be parents or whoever, how do you handle it? I'm having issues with someone and it's become quite apparent that talking doesn't work with them.

Yeah my dad's pretty controlling, I'm 17 years old and he still won't let me out on Saturday nights sometimes, it gets really annoying, it's like he's trying to keep me on lockdown, it's not like I'm going to do anything wrong, he knows I don't do anything wrong, I never do anything bad that would make him lose his trust, but what the hell, it gets really annoying....

it sometimes happens to me...but all goes well in the end when my mom gives in and says "yes, you can do [inserts situation]."

nope..no one in my life has ever really "controlled" mine..sometimes i feel influenced by mom cos i care about her opinions a lot so she knows if i ask "can i go on a road trip by myself" and she goes "you can..but..well..yeah..go ahead.." then she knows i wont go cos i think she doesnt want me to go..if that makes sense..haha..for the most part..i think im the controlling one in everyone elses life =/

I used to feel that I was undercontrol...but I don't let that happen to me nemore...I live my life...and you know what nobody knows me better than me...soOo the only person who should be controling it is me...

Not really.
My parnets let me do what I want...but I mean, if IW as someone else I mgith think they're controling...but it's jsut we agree on what I Should do so I don't feel like I'm being controled. Like my mom and dad make sure I always eat healthy, but that doens't annoy me because I like eating healthy, I care about myself, adn they make me waer a helmet while I'm riding my bike but tha'ts fine cause I want to be safe, I don't want to get a brain injury and I totally agree with them, and stuff....yup, no controling issues here really
