You scored as agnosticism.

You are an agnostic. Though it is generally taken that agnostics neither believe nor disbelieve in God, it is possible to be a theist or atheist in addition to an agnostic. Agnostics don't believe it is possible to prove the existence of God (nor lack thereof). Agnosticism is a philosophy that God's existence cannot be proven. Some say it is possible to be agnostic and follow a religion; however, one cannot be a devout believer if he or she does not truly believe.

agnosticism 96%
Buddhism 96%
Satanism 92%
Paganism 88%
Islam 75%
atheism 63%
Hinduism 58%
Judaism 46%
Christianity 42%

Wow... One thing's for sure--I don't believe in Jesus and the whole God thing.

Wow wth haha.. I had a tiebreaker! Turns out I'm still as agnostic as Buddhist, but more agnostic than buddhist, but kinda not really? They're the same percentage. blink.gif

^ Ooh okay that makes sense now lol. I swear, I think I got dumber. mellow.gif

Plus the tiebreaker, I realized the two questions for the tiebreaker, one was a question that revolved around an agnostic belief and another one revolving around a buddhist belief. I know I chose the agnostic one since the other one was about meditation and I wouldn't just sit around and meditate for relaxation, like it asked.

You scored as atheism.

You are...an atheist, though you probably already knew this. Also, you probably have several people praying daily for your soul. Instead of simply being "nonreligious," atheists strongly believe in the lack of existence of a higher being, or God.

atheism 88%
agnosticism 83%
Satanism 75%
Islam 63%
Buddhism 54%
Judaism 29%
Paganism 29%
Christianity 29%
Hinduism 8%

Pretty accurate...although I'm not sure where the Satanism came in.

I always love quizzes like these. Yes they aren't dead on always but they really help people to open their minds and perhaps explore different belief systems. And hopefully, help them find a belief system that suits them the best weather or not its the one they've already chosen. Lets see what I get. Now my current beliefs fall under "Eclectic Pagan" so I'm curious to see what it says I am.

------------

You scored as Buddhism.

Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Buddhism. Do more research on Buddhism and possibly consider becoming Buddhist, if you are not already. In Buddhism, there are Four Noble Truths: (1) Life is suffering. (2) All suffering is caused by ignorance of the nature of reality and the craving, attachment, and grasping that result from such ignorance. (3) Suffering can be ended by overcoming ignorance and attachment. (4) The path to the suppression of suffering is the Noble Eightfold Path, which consists of right views, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right-mindedness, and right contemplation. These eight are usually divided into three categories that base the Buddhist faith: morality, wisdom, and samadhi, or concentration. In Buddhism, there is no hierarchy, nor caste system; the Buddha taught that one's spiritual worth is not based on birth.

A second option? What do you mean? Like if somebody doesn't want to dive into Wicca they can go with Buddhism instead? If thats what you mean then no. There would only be one or the other if they were the same thing. Wicca is different from Buddhism and vice versa. As for Wiccans being pagans. Yes, they are. Acctually while one can be just a Pagan, paganism is also a categorey for religions. Religions like Shamanism, Druidism, Astaru, and even Satanism are often put in the categorey of "Pagan".Similar in a sense to how you can be a christian but there are many types like Catholic, Baptist etc..

Man, this was loooong ago. I was raised a Hindu, but as I explored different religions, Buddhism interested me. But now, I have become an atheist.

edit: My results. Atheism is at the top, but Buddhism comes in at a close second. So even though I may be an atheist, there's still some things I believe in.

or, paul, people jus tdont believe in the questions, as the ones which are supposed to give the result of christianity are mor eobviously connected with that faith, and so it is harder to produce a result like that if you ar eindifferent, as you will not say that you believe that jesus is the son of god, and whatnot

Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Satanism! Before you scream, do a bit of research on it. To be a Satanist, you don't actually have to believe in Satan. Satanism generally focuses upon the spiritual advancement of the self, rather than upon submission to a deity or a set of moral codes. Do some research if you immediately think of the satanic cult stereotype. Your beliefs may also resemble those of earth-based religions such as paganism.
