im in college...haha so there really arent any rules. but i have this one professors that doesnt allow cell phones in class because you could possibly be bvreaking some sort of academic honesty law or something with txt msging

None that i could think of at my current school, but at my old school, no kissing in the hallways. school admins at my old school were fine with couples holding hands and hugging, but they draw the line at kissing.

no coats or jackets or hats in school. have to put them in our locker or put them away. no cell phones in school was stupid. it use to be a state law in illinois cuz they first made that law cuz drug dealing was going on in school. now its just "mom can give me a ride home" lol! we can only use the phone bfore n after school now but not during, even lunch time. but pple use it n e way.

Mine is kind of like the same thing, but we can't wear hoodies. Everyone wore hoodies on a school day to make them reconsider, but the schools too resistant..

There are 2 sets of stairs, very far away from eachother. One of them, you are only allowed to walk up. The other you are only allowed to walk down? It was hectic last year when every other class was upstairs..and then my next was always down.

also, they only let us walk in one hall because we "disturb" the other classes when we switch period?

we always have to sign out before we go to the bathroom..to stop graffitie? (its still there and adding anyway)

no pajamas to school =[...or squishy pj shoes..w.e those are called.

My school has a lot of odd rules, but none of them are ever kept.
The one that i dislike the most is that we have vending machines, however, they are turned off during lunch because it takes away from the cafeteria money, (But, everything is cheaper in the machines) yeah, its dumb. They are on every other time, just not during lunch (even though we are never suposed to use them period)

well cd players, cell phones. etc. are allowed, but not in class. The dumbest rule is.....no chewing gum....i mean come on!!! it's not a big deal

At my old school:

- No mobiles phones (But no-one cared)
- No neon-coloured trainers

Thats it I think, all the others are just what most schools have.

- No eating in the hallways. This rule was enforced when a girl slipped up on some food in the corridor and broke her foot.
- Only year 11's allowed to sit in the corridors.

+ your hair has to be of natural color. once, my friend came to school with orange hair and was sent to AC [alternative classrooms- pretty much detention for the entire school day]
+ no water fights after school
+ no colored shoelaces because they can be "gang related"
+ you can't wear those "make 7 UP YOURS" shirts because it's "offensive"
+ you can't wear flipflops to school [but we girls break it all the time =x]
+ guys cant wear tall tees
+ no cds/disks are to be inserted in school computers because they might contain "viruses"
+ you can't chew gum
+ you can't eat in class
+ you can't have cough drops without permission from a doctor and they must be kept with the nurse because it is considered "medication"

Hm.. probably the rule that says you cannot BRING any drink to the classroom. You buy it at lunch, and you only have it at lunch. Once your lunch is over, you have to throw it away.
