We can't have pants with holes in them.
And I have 472874290 reasons why it's stupid but I don't feel like typing them.

hmm, my school isn't so bad. but here's some stupid rules:

-no gum, any kind because it's distracting and people stick it everywhere

what the heck? it's only distracting if the person rudely smacks the gum loudly. if they wouldn't be so rude and actually keep their mouth shut, maybe that wouldn't have become a rule! and also for the sticking the gum everywhere. just get it off. my GOD. I broke it before.

-cannot wear skirts above the knee

I usually have no problem with this rule, but sometimes I do because skirts are stylish and hip! pinch.gif

-no hats

I look good in hats! ahh! I have no idea why they have this rule, but I really seriously hate it to death! hats (like cute hats, not caps) are my thing.

-no tanktops

oh great. no! I have 3 good lookin tanktops. and it's summer time to. bleh.

No flannel pants.. Because they think they are pajamas and are "disrespectful" other than that the rules seem pretty okay.

Wow, after reading all these weird rules I just love my school even more.

The only marginally dumb rule we have is no eating in the hallways, and that I find reasonable since people used to trash them with food.

We can wear ANYTHING WE WANT - it's said a girl came to school in a bikini once and one of my classmates came to school in a shirt one day that said "a-hole" in big red letters - we can dye our hair any color, pierce our entire face to metal, wear as many chains as we want, have our cell phones on (except teachers will make you turn it off during class, which is of course acceptable and understandable), it's normal to see kids making out in the stairwells...

And of course, who couldn't love the rule that lets us go outside to anywhere we want for the two hour lunch period?

I LOVE HUNTER...

Oh, and it's not really as chaotic and bad as it seems...>_> Trust me.

||edit||

Oh, no hats in school...:/

Oh well, I'm not like a hat fanatic or anything and I'm sure nobody will suffer from it.

at my school we cant have water bottles because someone pretended to have water but it was actually vodka

Haha...awesome!

People bring non-alcoholic wine to school all the time.

Umm as far as PDA goes, I'll quote my principal on this "As long as it doesn't look like you're trying to become a part of the other person-you're fine"

My school doesn't really need dumb or strict rules. It's so small that everyone just gets along.

My school can be a lot of fun. happy.gif

Since school started back, and I'm at a new school with new rules... BUMP.
- No carbonated drinks in the cafeteria. Isn't that where we're supposed to have them, if anywhere?

- No bookbags. You must use your locker. Tote/shoulder bags are alright, but nothing on your back is permitted. We might strangle someone with the strap.

- No holes or threads hanging out of jeans or any other article of clothing. Again, we might take the string and strangle someone around the neck with it. String is just that deadly.
I hate this new school. stubborn.gif

*

Wow, that's ridiclous! *is suddenly appreciative of Norcorss*

-No cell phones out within half an hour before or after school
-Cell phones can be taken away just for being seen (used to be only if they went off or if you were caught texting or playing games)
-On wednesday afternoons, ALL students must be either in the commons or outside after 2:20 because teachers have meetings (stupid. we got kicked out of the band room yesterday and the BD band director didn't even care. we're in there witout him all the time)
-if you have 5 absenses, your lisence will be taken away (including excused absenses. state law, but completely ridiculous)

There are some freaking ridiculous rules in my school. _dry.gif I just list some of them.

- Not allowed to eat outside if you are late for school. Otherwise you will get dimerit <----- That's worthless. If it works, nobody from my school sneak off, right?

- Got 3 marks deducted if you don't remove the old post on time. <----- How dumb it is!

I don't really like my school because of the dumb rules.

I go to a different school now since I'm in highschool, but at my last one:

-no make up... not even lip gloss
-only clear nail polish
-only natural colored hair
-shirts must always be tucked in
-belts at all times
-no back pockets on pants (they got rid of that one, but while it last it made it hell to find uniform pants...)
-only one necklace, two bracelets, a watch and two pairs of earings allowed
-no dangling earings
-no flip flops (or pretty much anything but tennis shoes)
-no carbonated beverages at lunch
-no touching
-at dances the teachers go around pulling couples apart saying "leave room for the holy spirit" (wtf?!)
-and about a million other really stupid rules... it would take forever to name them all

at my old middle school, we weren't allowed to wear flip-flops, which is absolutely ridiculous. then, at masterman, girls weren't allowed to wear shorts... i mean... not even normal, not-short-shorts... but we weren't prohibited from wearing short skirts. very stupid dress codes, if you ask me.
