hey.. i was wondering what are cookies and what they do to your computer and how you get rid of the useless ones?

Cookies are files from a site that are stored on your computer. They usually store password information, usernames, and the times that you last visited sites. You know, you go to a site and it remembers your password.

down load spybot serch and destroy from download.com it works for me!
(edit)- downloads.com
or you can just type in spybot search and destroy in google

that doesn't get rid of cookies....lol
well what do you have IE of Firefox? actually forget it, it doesn't matter. go to Tools>>Options. then get rid of the internet cache or cookies, or delete everything from temporary internet files. it should say something along those lines.

i was thinking the food when i looked at the tittle..laugh.gif im not really sure what they r exactly...but i think what ryanoman said is right..sorry im not that much help..

I don't remember but i use to have this software that deleted cookies.

Clear your cookies often. That's what I always do. It helps in the long run, against spyware and such. At least I think it does.
