let's see .. crew .. my friends who are in crew work out all the time. when i go with them they're always working out their arms, chest, back -- basically whole upper body. and we run A LOT, we're talking long distance running. hope that helps and goodluck with crew! happy.gif

crew is a good choice of sports. I know many older frends that were in crew, and got scholarships to good schools because of it. Since crew ain't such a popular sport, the colleges need exp. players. And they're willing to pay your tuition for it! hah! But then I joined Dragonboat. har.
So much more fun.

What do you mean by CREW? blink.gif

Did you meant crew as in sports? Well try and join the swimming crew then. Or try and take Basketball/football? ehh there's so many great sports out there. Just choose one that you think you can get the best out of it.

Crew....oh man....lol i dated this guy who took crew VERY seriously. And yes, it takes boatloads of stamina. It's considered the hardest sport, and this guy would get so tired after crew meets or practices. But yah def build up your stamina...get on a rowing machine at your gym, lift weights....and build up your leg muscles...go running....and the guy always used to tell me that alot of it is mental, so it's mind over matter...lol good luck!!

i've been on a crew team for about 2 and half years noww...legs are a the most important part of your body...
-you can do jumpies (where you bend down down then jump back up continuously) start by doing ten...its killerr...
-push ups
-weights...arm curls, over the head
-leg presses
-push ups, running....the regulars i guess...
-erging...they are a big part of the winter trainingg...every rower favorite machinee laugh.gif not really
