PLZ HLP-suggestions on what to put in prom newspap, er...CB has some pretty intelligent ppl. Options

Ok, I'm editor for my school newspaper. Right now we're doing the prom section of the newspaper and we're at a dead end. Nobody can think of what to write and/or put in the newspaper that's not cliche', redundant, oversaid, obvious, etc. The only two stories we have are called:

1. Does this dress make me look BIG?
2. Tips for Prom from a female perspective (which is still trite and common)

Our teacher has been urging us to think up something new and he says that he refuses to put anything else in that section unless its good. &I'm over it so my grade kinda depends on this.

What I'm asking of the intelligent people at CB is to suggest interesting topics, features, or stories, things to draw, clipart, pictures, etc. etc. that we could put in the prom section of the newspaper to catch attention and make it extraordinary. Don't forget about the guys also. We literally have nothing catering to the guys. So ppl, can you plz help me out? Think back to your older high school newspapers, whatever. Please help me, I'm desperate.
