It took me only 3 hours..... pretty simple stuff tho.... hard part was just the translucent lettering...
So how is it for a complete newb?

looks cool, looks like you got a pretty good handle on the layer techniques. maybe you can make it so that bar doesnt overlap the big F? I dunno just an opinion.

So should I just move the F to a higher location, or should I just edit the layer order?

hummm well if you moved it into a higherlocation, that might make the perspective of the picture off. But try both and see what looks better to you.

mm.. i think just changing the layers so da f is on top of the bar... and also i'd probably make the red of the text a lil bit darker... jus fo a bit of contrast.. but that's jus ma opinion.. newyz fo a photoshop newb... WAY 2 B!! gd job

its nice, but it would look better with a borer. just right click the image in photoshop and go to select all with the marquee tool. then go to image>border>choose you color and everything, then its done. But it looks ver nice either way

to overlap the F, why wont you just use polygonal lasso and clear the area on the layer of the bar that overlaps the F? blink.gif just a suggestion.
but it looks nice... _smile.gif really nice with the whole red thingy going on... happy.gif

i really luv the motion thing and the color, it looks great!! i luv that thing in the middle, the way you made it lighter. However, I think if the inside was a little brighter, it might be better. just suggestion, haven't read other comments, so sorry if someone mention it already!! Keep it up!!

well I think it is considored a type of help if someone posts and asks for suggestions or an opinion on something that he or she has made.

I think it looks very nice and very professional.
good job biggrin.gif
