well heres how i see it. if they tried to hide it from you - yeah that'd be upsetting but if they just left it out then yeah i'd just ask them but i wouldn't get mad about it.

i guess your semi-entitled to know about it-- but does it really matter?
does it really matter who they`re dating?
and perhaps theres a reason they`re not telling you.
or perhaps they jst forgot to mention it to you (:

Yeah, I agree. I mean, I haven't really told my friends that I have a boyfriend, unless they see us together or they ask me. I just don't like talking about my personal life that much I guess, so I don't really openly discuss it with them. But, if they were purposfully hiding, ask them about it.

i think it`s okay to be mad, i mean, it`s your close friends

but you shouldn`t be too angry that you wouldn`t be friends anymore. maybe they didn`t want to tell because they didn`t rub into your face that you`re single (are you single?) hey, at least you know they`re together now. :P

She has a point. What if other people asked your friends before you did? Maybe they (your friends) told them (other people) only because they asked.

I wouldn't blame your friends. This happens to me a lot, since i always wait for my friends to tell me about "their news".

So true. How do you know they weren't being ultra sensitive for your sake?

^ Ignore that if you're not single. mellow.gif

No, you're definately not wrong in this. But perhaps they were doing this FOR you. Maybe they didn't want you to feel bad because they had boyfriends and you didn't. Try talking to them. Tell them that you'd rather them tell you what's going on in their lives than try to protect you from it.

I guess them not telling you might be a sign that they don't see you as a good friend as you see them..but if they told other people...before they told you....and umm....they are in your opinion good friends...then umm...you have a right to be mad...but then again...it's their life..and it's their choice to tell who they want to...
