it feel werid, the banner look weak or fade off and all the sudden the blg border or so dark.
it better if you take that banner and creaty it own border and repeat the border about the y-axis. |

OOOH! I love the banner. I think you should change your font in your blog because it doesnt fit..well for me it doesnt fit with the layout.
