i think 15-16 is a good age for viewers to see Rated R movies. I for one, have not seen many R movies, due to my mom thinking I'll have sex early, do drugs, kill people, have insomnia due to horror movies, ect. Since most 15-16's know about these things and might have been exposed to them , i'd say it'd be a walk in the park for them to see R rated movies. Not such a big deal. I really dont want to wait until I'm 17-18 to see an R Rated movie, jsut because my parents want me to be naive and sheltered all my life.

QUOTE(is2diexd @ Aug 17 2004, 9:52 PM) i don't think it should matter because some people are more mature than other people at that age -_-.. and i personally LOVE Hard Gore(Puahaha) and all these other disturbing stuff, im perfectly fine with it, i have no problems sleeping at night or anything.. but because of the rating i can't go watch it for like 4 damn years -_- unless i make friends with the people at the theatre or something -_-.. so it should be up to the people who are buying the tickets to judge for themselves whether the movie is suitable for them or not. I totally agree with you on your position. It is how mature you are, age does not define wisdom. |
