i have my tongue, spetum, navel (x2) and earlobes pierced and my earlobs hurt worse than all of them! the others you could just feel the pressure of the needle. i swallowed the top ball of my tongue barbell once and i lived to tell about it. after you take it out the hole closes up in an hour or less and there is a low risk of infection (wounds in the mouth heal fast). i only talked funny for about two weeks after i got it (because of swelling). now people i've been friends with for a while don't even realize i have it unless i show them or am chewing on the ends. i changed the ends to acrylic because metal banging against teeth does not equal good in the near future. ahhhhh! okay, thats all i feel the need to contribute.

I don't really want one cause having something in your mouth while you eating and having food get stuck in it is just gross. I think it would hurt cause they're making a hole in your mouth with a needle?
 Don't you think that would hurt?

yeah i wanted my tongue pierced too. of course it's gonna hurt but ive heard the most annoying thing would be picking the food that might get stuck around there. plus, some say that it leads to cancer?
 so im not sure. i kind of let go of that dream

i want mine done really bad..i got my belly button pierced and didnt feel it at all..it only hurt when i would accidentally rub against something..and i`ve had my ears pierced since i was like 5 so i dont really remember that..but yeah..im really afraid of how bad its gonna hurt..and my parents wont let me either..so i would have to hide it from them..and how am i not supposed to talk to them for a week or hide my swollen tongue for a week or 2?? they didnt let me get my belly button pierced either..but that was easy to hide haha..ehh..anyway..i dont know..i think they are hott tho and i want one =)

Tounge peircing are SOO flippin hot... it doesn't hurt that much...It hurts more afterword then it does when it is getting done. So yeah....

LoL yeah i was talking to my brother about getting a tongue piercing and he was like "dont get one" and i asked why and he said "when i see a girl with a tongue ring i think HEY..IM GONNA GET SOME" i was like wow..okay........

MY BOIFRIEND HAS ONE!!! He told me that it didnt hurt that bad...hes had his done twice...he said the only time it hurt was when the guy stuck it in top to bottom...so he told me that if i get mine to get it from bottom to top...who no's maybe we will still be together and he'll come with me to get it done!!!

some say it hurts & some say it don`t .. only one way 2 find out & that is 2 find out on your own .. thats if you are able 2 get it pierced ... i sometimes wonder wutz it like to have one .. i mite get one in a couple of months when i`m 18 ...

getting your tongue pierced doesnt hurt much, no more than pircing your ears.... I got mine done by my friend. It's weird at first, but you get used to it. Its he perfect thing for people with short attention span becaus eyou can play with it.... plus guys think it's sexy
 . The only thing i didnt like was that i slurred my words when i first got it

Now the big question is DID IT HURT?? and for real it all depends on your tolerance for pain.. the actual peircing hurt alittle bit for me.. but afterwards for about a week it was really soar and was very hard to eat on. I suggest for people who wanna get it done to get it done because i love mine!! One important thing though make sure you tighten the balls before you eat because yesterday while i was eating my top ball feel off.. and my tounge wasnt healed yet.. so i had a hard time putting it back on.. but yea its cool... and like i said it all depends no one can tell u if it hurt or not because like i said it all depends on YOUR pain tolerance level. :)

i wanna tounge ring.. but i change mah mind.. you can get a infection.. like wtf?? TOUNGE RING HURTS MORE THAN THE EAR PIERCED...i have alot of earrings in mah ear... i got 6 pairs or piercing in the ear.. it hurts when you put it.. after few mins.. it doesn't....lols.. i know i know.. im only 12 an di got loadsah piercing.. i usually put it for fun.. mah mum would start screamin at me.. so i took the earrings off....
