I would like to do something like ...this... with my Xanga.
I don't want to use that skin but I really like how there is a semi transparent white background in the posting area, so that the background image is visible but the text is not illegible. I'd like this semi-transparency to be in the posting area and all the modules, which I'll probably leave right where they are. (Default) The person that made the skin was kind enough to post the code for it but I'm not savvy enough to figure out which parts I need for this one little change. Oh, and even if I did find the relevant code, I would not know where to put it in the CLAF! Sorry if this has been asked/answered before, but I must not be using the right search terms. My Xanga can be found ...here... but I have not made any changes to it yet. |

if you mean the semi-transparent box, there is no code for that...the semi-transparency is created from some sort of paint program [like psp9 for example]. so basically, the box is part of the IMAGE.

I'm sorry, ....HERE.... is a better example of what I was trying to describe.
I love the way you can see her background through her posts, because the area behind her text is transparent white. I also want my modules, which I've moved to the right, to have this effect. Thanks if anyone has advice. My Xanga |

I think I have it working properly now. Please let me know if you think it is still hard to read. Comment here or there, I'll get it either way.
My Xanga Your input is greatly appreciated. |
