QUOTE(Ballpointpencil @ Mar 3 2005, 8:57 PM)
I have TMJ (temporomandibular joint pain/muscle dysfunction), but it isn't exactly a rare problem. It is basically a malformation of the jaw so that it clicks or locks. I just have it severely enough that I've gotten lockjaw before.

I have also inherited massive migraine headaches from my dad. Thankfully, I only get them ever couple of weeks, but I am afraid that once I am my dad's age I will get them as much as he does. Which is to say, get them for around twenty hours a day, at the least. Joy.

...So that's what it's called. Mine is not as severe as that. There was a point where my mom (my mom, sister, and I have it) had trouble opening her mouth, and it hurt to eat.

Do you have an illness?

I have one, its not deadly, but I was just wondering if anyone else was going through the same kind of thing. I have chronic fatigue syndrome, and fibromyalgia.

I am taking a chance here, so someone please answer. _unsure.gif

omg, I was jsut wacthing a health show about chronic fatigue syndrome, they said it made you tired all the time and you could sleep thoruhg like weeks without waking...tha tmsot be really horrible! I'm so sorry...you've made me feel emensly lucky, all I've got is ugly perpetual goose bumps rolleyes.gif jeez, I dont' even know what fibromyalgia is! sad.gif all the best luck with your deaseases, I feel for you cry.gif

oh ya, and I don't have any alergies or nothing...nope, no deaseises..I mean OTHER than my skin thing, plus actually, I ahve another ksin thing where soem mold type stuff grows on ym skin and looks like dirt, so bassically, it looks like I ahvn't had a hsower in weeks, when in fact I have a hsower every two days wacko.gif hmpf. that's about it tho...and non of my parents have any kind of bad deases or nothing..my dad has back problems and my mom has Excema...but she takes a pil for it that's working really really well and you can't even tell, so it's not a big deal..yup, tha'ts it..I'mr eally really lucky, I know. biggrin.gif

When I was younger, I used to have (I don't remember what it's called) something to do with my kidneys. I had just moved from Indiana to Florida and I wasn't drinking enough liquids and I got dehydrated. I was in the hospital for two-three weeks because it got so bad. I was probably 6-7 years old, so I don't remember the details. As of now, I don't have any so that's good!

I don't have any health illnesses.. hmm I was born with a hole in my heart, but it went away when I was still really young. I have sleep paralysis.. uhh and allergies. :D

And I've had that jaw thing happen to me before. It wouldn't go away for two weeks. And it just kept on popping.. then it'd hurt when you'd open your mouth and yeah. My mom said it was because of my braces but >_>
