Another piece I wrong a long while ago, I haven't read through this one before I posted it so my memory of it is kind of vague. Post your thoughts, ideas and what not. And if anyone has any suggestions on how I could improve on such a thing please leave your suggestions too please, they would be most appreciated
Death Beckons Hello? I hear you calling Calling my name Every passing second your voice grows louder You’re coming to me I’m going to you Even though I know who you are And I know what you have done And what you will do for the rest of your unending life I strangely do not fear your voice And these foot steps that I can now faintly hear Through this misty haze So thick that I can barely see my own hands My heart beat steadies Another breath I take in And you whisper my name Through the fog There you are, you have finally come Your shadow in the distance appears No, that is no shadow That is truly who you are An apparition of nothingness Draped in your black cloak, that smothers the ground Choking it by the intoxication of your essence Your hood masks your face I see nothing with my eyes by a black abyss A pit that continues for all eternity Black and nothing but Despite your position among mankind You hide everything from the world And with all precautions, mask your face so well With all precision Are you afraid? |

i love the point of view it comes from, as well as the imagery...almost reminds me of the entity 'death' from neil gaiman's series, though she's a woman without the cloak but the beginning part reminds me of her...anyways, i'm rambling but i liked it.

As Steph said, I love the imagery.
It's almost as if it could indeed be an epic.. |
