if its my parents friends/relatives i just smile say thank you..compliment them back..really awkward b/c i know theyre doing it out of politeness and they dont mean it..so i dont really know how to react. if its my friends (who are mostly guys) and they call me cute..i feel embarrassed and call them crazy..b/c i dont know how to react when guys call me cute either

It depends on the person. If it's a guy I like I would blush and say aw thank you. If it's just a normal person I would just say thank you and compliment something of theirs

some people I cannot stand like to be sarcastic, and like to fool around with me. so, when they say I look nice, I know they are kidding. so, I just say something sarcastic back. but when real people say something, I grin and say, "aww, thanks!"
