discharge is basically a clearish type of liquid that comes out of the urethra of the penis. It's sort of a counter agent to urine. urine is an acid, and discharge is a base. They nullify each other basically, allowing sprem to travle throught the urethra without being aci-fied (burned up).

Thanks i think we're tlaking abt girl discharge.... and its just a normal, natural thing that a girl may have before, everyday, or occasionally when she hits puberty. Its a whitish, yellowish liquid that you may find on ur underwear =)

you discharge cuz your body is cleaning up in there lol well if you discharge more often that might mean your cleaner? !?! haha maybe maybe not, but its totally normal
the only thing you can do it get used to it  yeah being a girl has it disappointments

I have it everyeday but I think it's normal for you. To me, it's like a sign telling me when my period might come or not. Like when it seems like alot (or heavy) discharge, I can tell that my period might ccome tomorrow, in a few days or next week.

Discharge is your body's way of cleaning your vagina.

Also, there are different kinds of discharge that can indicate different things, and yes, you can get any one of these at 14, 15, 16 years old. if the discharge is slight, whitish in colour, it's normal. if it changes, and becomes thicker, and cottage cheese like, with any itching it's a yeast infection if it changes colour, and becomes tinged yellow, and yes, sometimes a slight green colour, it's a bacterial infection, most commonly BV (Bacterial Vaginosis) which is not unlike a yeast infection, and can be treated by a visit to your doctor for (specific) antibiotics, most commonly Flagyl. yeast infections and bacterial infections are not considered STDs, however, you can contract them from having sex, pass it on to your partner, and recieve it back if he has not had any treatment, or if the sex was unprotected. it's completely normal, and it happens to nearly every woman at least once in their life. |
