ohh mann, mine sucked!! i was afraid to tell my mom. i didnt know how to tell her, so she juss found out. i got mine like a week after that "girl talk" class we had in 5th grade, so i had a pad with me already. and i would sit in the bathroom crying cuz i didnt know what to do
 it was terrible. lots of blood. no cramps, weird.--Manda! |

I just have a little blood on my underwear. I can feel it when it starts, so I just quickly get a pad and everything's fine.

It was the day after my elementary school prom and the day of my sisters bridal shower and i was sleeping over at my brothers house. I just woke up and it fel gross but it was just on my underwear.

I got my first about five minutes before I had to board a plane to cross the Atlantic... if I hadn't gone to the bathroom and noticed when I did, I would have been totally screwed once airborne. As it was I was pretty calm, I just bought some pads and told my mom.

My first period had... a little blood on my panties. It was kinda brown, and I thought I was dying, so I started crying and told my mom, and she explained to me what a period was and how to use pads.

Well, um...my first day...If I knew, I could say it was worse that being in labor, but I've never been in labor so...If I had to choose between my first day or amputation, I would choose-
No, I'm just kidding. I wouldn't NEVER amputate ANYTHING. But it did feel like I was dying a very tedious death without medication with needles tumbling within me. And I think it would be compared to labor C: |

I hated mine, I woke up and was bleeding and freaked out because I didn't know what the f**k was wrong with me, until I fully woke up and started thinking.
Then of course I didn't tell anyone and I stole a pad, and never again did I wear pads. |

It was pretty bad. I remember sitting in my math class with cramps (not knowing they were cramps at the time) and wanting to cry and go home.

My first period wasn't horrible...it was just like ooo blood, and I took care of it...I started off with a light flow & it happened during the summer so I was ok; no embarrassing or painful moment

I don't remember how the actual period was, as far as flow goes. But I remember the night before my cramps were so bad I actually puked in my Mom's room. I thought I was just getting sick or something. Then when I woke up the next morning I realized what was going on of course. Those first couple of years the cramps were always bad like that. But that was the only time I puked from it.

im such a newbie to it, too. my first one just ended 3 weeks ago. and my mom said its going to come back again soon. its like, nooooo! not living hell AGAIN! D: my mom has bad cramps, and guess what? i got cursed with bad cramps too! =[ at first the blood was brown, so i thought it was infected discharge or something. then it turned red i was like "..." i always thought about periods the years before i got it. once i was in 5th grade without a period, i was like "ef it! forget about it for another few years." then once i had completely and totally forgotten about it i started

When I got home from school, I had blood on my underwear. Thankfully, I didn't leak through my pants & no cramps -major plus :D
