hey.. i was wondering how i would be able to make borders on images in photoshop... im having a hard time making borders.. if anyone could tell me plz... =(

hmm i tried looking on my photoshop but i couldnt find a way but usually when i want to make a border i use my pen/pencil tool . So it may work for you to

if you select what you want to be bordered cant you go to select>>modify>>border then fill it the color you want?
or you can stroke it? iono you can try that ^^ |

Press CTRL+A on the top layer, and then go to edit stroke. Change the pixels to whatever needed and you should be ready. :D Hope that helped.

1. Add a new layer (shift+ctrl+n)
2. On the new layer select with the marqee tool what you don't want the boder to be on 3. Select-->Inverse 4. Hide all the layers but the new one from step 1 5. With the paint bucket tool fillint the selected area 6. Now unhide the othe layers and disselect (ctrl+d) Now you should have a border |

wow, you guys seriously need to know this!
on the layer you want to add a border on, go to blending options. click stroke on the left side (should be the last one) and make sure to choose inside where it sayd uh..position or something. the other options should be outside or center. Moved to Webdesign |

or, you can just use the rectangular line tool (u) use it around ur image and set the fill to 0, add blending options and ur done
