i just recently got the gimp. a lot of people say you can do almost all the same things in it that you can do in photoshop. i was wondering if anyone knew of any good sites that have tutorial that would be useful for making good graphics. i googled it,but didnt really find anything. i especially wanted a tutorial for making blends similar to the ones in photoshop and psp.also i was wondering how to add a thin border to text. if i start a new transparent layer and put text in it,and try to add a border it adds the border around the entire layer instead of just the text.
