Before, one of my best buddies told me, "It was so freaky. I saw my webcam's lens move. Someone was watching me. I was so freaked out."

I'm not sure if she was telling the truth. Lols. But, I believe her all the way. Anyways, I just want to know.. is it possible to watch someone through their webcam without them knowing? Because.. that's scary.

you just scared the crap out of me, i have my webcam 'watching' me right now

but yeah i think ppl can watch you through your webcam, if the know how to hack into your comp system. but then agian isn't your webcam connected to your comp only?

My friend's webcam is like that...and before her computer got hacked. So now she keeps a cloth over her webcam so they can't see anything.

If there are people watching, of course...

Eek.. One time I thought I saw the lens move too! pinch.gif Then I unplugged my webcam. After that, I would take out my webcam if I wasn't using it... whistling.gif :]

that's scary...i saw something on the news about stuff like that a while ago...people really can hack into your computer and turn it on or off, do the same thing with your volume button, and do stuff with you webcam... ph34r.gif

yea i am always afriad that will happen. so i always point my webcam towards the wall unless i'm using it. scary what people are capable of these days

yah I heard about that but half the time my webcam's pic are blurry since I play around the focus dial on mine. But what's freaky are those Motion detection webcams..they move when you move.

You can MAKE someone else see you.. that's the whole purpose of a webcam.. but yeah someone can hack it too.. but if someone hacked it.. why would they make the lens move? It'd give 'em away.

my friend has one of those and he let me use it and it was SO creepy. the thing looks like an eye following you around.

thats so freaky! i was wantin to get a webcam but now im not so sure! haha man its amazing how technology is so much a part of our lives nemore! i bet ya ppl 100 years ago never worried about being spied on through little cameras in their houses!! haha weird how the times change!
