I made a skin, put the blog where I want it, and realized that I don't have any modules! Here's my xanga, is there a way I can put my modules in that big black spot? I tried div layering, it didn't work.

Not if you disabled the left side module, which it appears you have done. You can take that part out and adjust everything to fit within that div, create an image map with the navigation necessities, or create another div with your information within it.
